Trip to El Nido next month. Looking for fellow travelers.

I’m planning a trip in June to El Nido. We will use my air-conditioned van. The trip will take 7 to 14 days. I’m looking for fellow travelers. They have to be willing to share expenses unless they can demonstrate financial hardship.   🙂

The itinerary begins in Puerto Princesa and then proceeds to:

  1. the Underground River
  2. Port Barton
  3. Roxas
  4. San Vicente
  5. Taytay
  6. and El Nido.

Route

Underground River - Roxas - Pt Barton - San Vicente - Taytay

Tentative Itinerary: Underground River -> Pt Barton -> Roxas -> San Vicente -> Taytay

The orange line is supposed to represent the National Highway. It is incomplete however.

The next map shows the continuation from Taytay.

Taytay to El Nido

I was told by someone who drove to El Nido in April that the road is paved all the way to Taytay. From Taytay to El Nido, the road has a gravel surface but at least, he said, it has a surface. As recently as last year, there was no surface hence there really was no road!

El Nido is 240 kilometers (150 miles) north of Puerto Princesa.

Here’s a map of the town of El Nido.
